Parents’ Day Out at Joyful Journeys Childcare is a special afternoon designed to give you a much-needed break while your children enjoy a fun, safe, and nurturing environment.

Our trained and certified staff plan engaging activities, creative play, and hands-on learning experiences that keep children entertained and smiling. Kids will enjoy crafts, games, and snacks while making new friends and wonderful memories.

Meanwhile, parents can relax, run errands, or simply recharge, knowing their little ones are in capable and caring hands. Parents’ Day Out is not just a service — it’s an opportunity for families to find balance and for children to thrive in a joyful, structured setting.

HOW DO I REGISTER MY CHILD?

Choose from the available Saturday time slot(s). After you RSVP, you’ll receive a registration form by email to complete and return to Joyful Journeys Childcare.

Registration is required prior to Saturday for your child to attend.

If spots are still available, same-day registration may be possible — please call or message us first to confirm availability before coming.

Payments can be made by Zelle or cash at drop-off.

Spots are limited, so please RSVP early to reserve your child’s place.

what does it include?

Parents’ Day Out at Joyful Journeys Childcare includes a variety of engaging activities and services for children to enjoy while parents take a well-deserved break.

Themed Activities: We plan age-appropriate, themed activities that encourage creativity and play, such as arts and crafts.
Games and Play: Children can enjoy fun games and free playtime, both indoors and outdoors, to promote physical activity and social interaction.
Storytime or Movie: Depending on the age group, children may enjoy a cozy storytime or a short movie.
Snacks and Drinks: We provide kid-friendly snacks and drinks to keep children energized and happy during their time with us.
Supervised Care: Our trained and certified staff are present at all times to supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children.
Learning Opportunities: We incorporate educational elements into the activities to support learning and cognitive development in a playful way.

WHAT IS THE COST?

Daycare Member: $25

Daycare Member siblings: $20

Non-Daycare Member: $35

Non-Daycare Member siblings $30

WHAT ARE THE DAYS AND TIMES?

Parents’ Day Out

Parents’ Day Out is held on Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Times may vary for holidays or special additional days — please check our event section for updates.

If you RSVP and are unable to attend, we kindly ask for 48 hours’ notice.

HOW DO I PAY?

Payments are due on the day of Parents’ Day Out.

We accept:

Cash (due at drop-off)
Zelle (payment instructions provided upon registration, or you may pay prior to the event)

Spots must be reserved in advance, but payment can be made ahead of time or at drop-off.
